Despite the high incidence of hernia and the attention paid to hernia surgery globally, pain, bleeding other complications are still often observed as a result of improper surgery. In this module, open repair of a 2x5 cm para-umbilical hernia is demonstrated with narrated guidance from Dr. Sujith Wijerathne and is suited for undergraduates.
